Disneyland, Thai Style, Living Small

At a big temple you can take off your shoes and run around ringing bells and playing with the orange-robed monks and chasing in and out of magical castles and palaces.

You can wrestle with patient temple dogs, or you can take handfuls of tiny coins and toss one in each of a hundred buckets, making a wonderful clang every time. On the edge of the temple grounds there may be dancers, but there are sure to be sweet treats.

It's all a fantasy come true, if you're three, or maybe even if you're twelve.

Your parents love it too. For them a temple is a happy place, full of good memories.

Having an adventure with Mom and Dad. Sights and bells and incense smells. Unlike Disneyland, all are welcome and there's no entrance fee. Having big fun, living small.
